1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AIPolicyKit ("the Service"), operated by NLEJ Development, CVR 46258304, Copenhagen, Denmark ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AIPolicyKit is an AI-powered tool that generates governance policy documents (Acceptable Use Policies, Data Handling Addendums, and Compliance Checklists) based on information you provide about your organisation. The Service is available in free and paid tiers.

3. Not Legal Advice

The documents generated by AIPolicyKit are informational and educational in nature. They do not constitute legal advice, and no solicitor-client relationship is created by using the Service. You should consult a qualified legal professional before adopting any policy document for your organisation. We make no representation that the generated documents will ensure compliance with any specific regulation.

4. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Free and Paid Plans

The free plan includes limited features as described on our pricing page. Paid plans ("Pro") are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute generated documents as a competing service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI system

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the information you provide to the Service. The policy documents generated for you are yours to use, modify, and distribute within your organisation. The Service itself, including its design, code, branding, and prompts, remains the intellectual property of NLEJ Development.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NLEJ Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated documents will be accurate or complete.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
